Quest Service Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Admin to support our busy Human Resources Department with onboarding new hires and recruitment needs. Located in Garden City, NY, this position is a perfect fit for that detail-oriented individual who enjoys people interaction in the retail services/light industrial staffing area. The ideal candidate will need to have both onboarding and recruiting experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct phone screenings, scheduling, phone interviews and in-person interviews
  • Responsible for Kronos ATS and database management and procurement of new hire documentation
  • Maintain contact with candidates and manage the new hire process including follow-ups and answering questions
  • Source candidates from online job boards such as Indeed.
  • Provide a steady stream of highly qualified candidates to meet the organization’s evolving hiring needs
  • Work closely with our HR Recruitment Managers to develop recruiting strategies for open positions
  • Assist other internal departments when necessary

Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • At least 1 year experience as a recruiter
  • Experience with Kronos Workforce One
  • Previous experience in the staffing industry preferred
  • Retail/Light Industrial / Warehouse staffing experience
  • Experience with Temporary staffing and scheduling
  • National recruiting experience
  • Onboarding and new hire paperwork experience
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Outside-the-box recruiting strategies
  • Excellent computer skills specifically in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and cloud based computing such as Google Drive
  • SHRM and other certificates a plus
  • Flexible to ever-changing needs and hours
  • Willing to travel occasionally
  • Bachelors degree or work related experience
